Our First House Guests!

Yesterday we hosted our first batch of house guests. It was so nice to entertain friends. To sit and talk and just hang out. It was nice for the ladies anyway!

Thanks to Craigslist, Scott and I (with the help from some generous family members) were able to recently purchase a play structure for the boys. I saw it on Craiglist while Scott was in Maine and when he came home we picked it up. It was easy getting it into the truck (with the help of the prior owner and his son) but upon getting it home it was only Scott and me to get it off the truck!!! Sure, I am a strong girl, but certainly not heroic!! So thankfully our neighbor was home that day and had introduced himself to us just in time to help get it off the truck!! (ha ha ha) Then this past weekend, we thought it would be nice to invite some friends over. Under false pretenses of course. They thought it was an Easter Gettogether, when really it was a "girls -will-watch-the- kids- and- eat- chocolate -while- the- boys- do- some -hard -labor- in- the -back- yard party! Don't worry I fed them well so their hard work was well rewarded.

So thank you to all the family members who sent birthday donations!! Both boys love it and so does MOMMY!!! Unfortunately this morning we had some explaining to do to the boys. They now seem to think that the Easter Bunny is THAT generous!!!

Uh, wanna come set something like that up in my yard, for ME? I think I'd rather enjoy it! And how's craigslist?? Heard of it, but never knew anyone who actually used it!!

I love Craiglist. I have bought and sold on it! Positive experiences each time...and the structure was only in four pieces when we set it up....so it was "easy" once we had men here to help!!!
