Daddy Diary ~ Nov 29th

Hey look who it is!!! I had to take pictures to make it believable. BUMPA IS IN OKLAHOMA!!!!

That's right. Mom and dad (aka Nana and Bumpa) arrived (finally) Tuesday night around 5pm. Since then it's been a whirlwind of activity. Lots of things to see and do, including meeting the C.O of VQ3 and getting a personal tour of the E6. What a treat for them to have had this experience.

Since their arrival, the house is full of Christmas cheer! They brought with them (literally) a truck load of "tidings of great joy", however I don't remember seeing any packages of Shreddies! Bummer. Tonight is what we are calling Christmas Eve. They are leaving Saturday morning so we thought we'd do the gift exchange tomorrow morning while they are here. And honestly, it's a good thing we are doing that before Santa comes on the 24th, because otherwise, he's going to think he has already been here! There are so many beautifully wrapped presents under the tree. They went a little overboard (as usual). The kids are excited and can't wait to rip them open. I will post pictures tomorrow after the INSANITY!
