All Systems: GO!!

We travelled down to "the city" once again today for our house inspection. It lasted all of 2 1/2 hours and came back with a great report. A few minor details need to be taken care of, but that should be covered by the sellers come closing on the house. Otherwise, they will cover the costs after closing. Being in the house again today made it so real to us. We all are so excited about our new investment. The kids really made themselves comfortable in it today.

We even took the drive to Tinker just to see what Scott's commute would be like. 5 minutes to the interstate, then 10 minutes to the front gate and then only 5 minutes from the gate to the squadron building. It's close to work but not too close, you know what I mean?

I still happen to be skeptic. Everything has gone so smoothly so far, I am just waiting for that axe to fall!!! I'm sure it will come the day we close. Scott refuses to think that way at all ~ The EVER optimist but I KNOW our luck so I KNOW something will happen! (praying that it doesn't by the way!!)

Here's our beauty again.....please come see it in person if you can. Oklahoma City is a GREAT place to visit, with or without kids, and we'd love to have you!! (oh and again, if you are handy, we'll put you to work: the back yard needs a deck!!)
