Daddy Diary ~ Sept 26th

I forgot to inclue this beautiful vision in yesterday's blog. We saw it first thing in the morning, during breakfast! It was overcast and slightly misting when the kids sat down for their bowl of cereal and as I was letting Bella out for her morning pee, I saw this beautiful rainbow! If you look close enough, you can see the second one too. This was a great way to start the morning!

Now today was a crazy day. The kids decided to wake up at 6am (yes you read that correctly) and act like it was the middle of the day. So as their punishment (hee hee) I kept them on their toes all morning. We started off at the Y, then went for a 45 minute swim afterwards. It was actually to help me recover from my 4 1/2 mile run...but that is besides the point. The kids enjoyed it and then told me of a new music class they went to at the Y during the time I was in the gym. Apparently the Y is trying this class out on the Child Watch kids first, before making it available to the public. Yay! It was free for us class today..... and the kids loved it ~ extra bonus!!!

From there we came home and had lunch. Ty crashed at the table ~ you're familiar with how that goes. He did nap, but then had to be rudely awaken by mommy so we could find some "picture day shirts". Off to the store we go and who do we bump into? Ty's room teacher: Miss Nancy. He turned into quite the little character in her presence. It was so cute. From there we headed to the park and met up with Vilona and the kids. Laura joined us and brought Griffin. Poor dog was fought over: who was going to walk him next? Laura ended up having to carry him the rest of the way ~ his legs would only go so fast and so far (for those of you who don't know, Griffin is a Corgi!!!!)

Anyway, here is our bedtime version of Daddy Diary for September 26th. We love you and miss you so much. xoxoxoxo

P.S Ty ate and loved edamane! YAY!!
