Scenes around town!

After all the posts for August I didn't think I would have anything worthy to write about for awhile. That was until we went to the Centennial Birthday party at the Governor's mansion this past weekend. Everything was free and it was a blast. A blast to the past that is.

The kids were able to see the history of OK right before their eyes. How things were settled in the west and how the pioneers once lived. Very reminescent of how I grew up actually ~ ok well not really...but the milking of the cows and making cream,

and driving tractors

and sampling wheat, etc all were. They loved doing all of that, and of course taking a ride on the "horse barrel" train.

So cute! Bumpa you would be so proud!
