Of all the sports I hated watching and playing the most, it was soccer! Too much running, too many elbows, too much running....it just sucked! Watching it was no better. B-O-R-I-N-G!!! That was until I became a SOCCER MOM (and a huge admirer of David Beckham!! HOTTIE) Now, today, you will come to know me as the loudest spectator on the sideline. I guess growing up Canadian, you inherit "arena voice" and just learn to cheer LOUDLY. That's what we do. But not only am I cheering, I am also running up and down the sideline WITH the boys as they work the ball down the field and into the net ~ SCORE!!!
Never in a million years did I see myself as an enthusiastic soccer mom, but I am. So much so I agreed to help COACH Zach's soccer team this fall. Yes, you read that correctly.
What was I thinking? What the heck do I know about soccer?
Good grief.
1st Practise is Thursday night at 5pm. Wish us luck!

I'm right there with ya sister! Dakota just started soccer earlier this month and even though I'm not coaching, I am definitely loving it way more than I thought I would! Good for you for jumping in there!! :)
Oh, Lylla. You don't even know what you're doing. Back away from the mini-van comments. Back. A. Way. I've seen the look in Christy's eye when someone refers to her Sport Wagon as a mini-van. If looks could mame (she'd never actually KILL someone over that)...
