Some Projects!

Our digital camera battery is still dead, however it seemed to gain up enough power to take these few pictures.

This past weekend, Scott took on a major project. Knowing our impending stormy season is approaching us, we wanted to make sure our doors could withstand the rain and the winds. They NEEDED to be replaced. So he got a brand new cranberry colored storm door and painted our front door a rich cranberry color. However when the first coat was being applied we were a little concerned about our color choices, as it was NOT going on the same color as the swatch. Had my camera been working, I would have shown you how GRAPEY the color was prior to it drying. I was FREAKING out to say the least. However, after four coats of paint the cranberry color does shine through and this is the end result.

That is daddy's handywork. Here are some projects the boys took on. The MOMS Club is headed to a retirement home this Friday and with us we take some artwork or crafts the kids have completed themselves ahead of time. This month the theme was Easter. We joined the club after the they had already completed their projects, so we had to come up with our own version of it. So, today while the rain poured down outside, we celebrated SPRING !! (so cute) Click on the picture to enlarge it!
