Dining with Daddy at the Hooch!

Today the boys and I made some haystacks and chocolate chip cookies from scratch to take in with our chicken enchi-ritto dinner we made for daddy. It's a good thing I brought in several containers of cookies because all I had to do was offer them to the other guys standing alert, and they came running! There was also a big game on TV today: OU vs Texas so they automatically had the munchies!! This just hit the spot.

We had dinner with daddy and then made our way into the auditorium where Zach and Ty both took turns using the stage as their.....stage! We heard 5 little monkeys about ten times over, as they took turns "falling off the bed" by jumping off the stage! They were pretty winded by 2 little monkeys on round 4!! Then of course we had to hear the Cars theme song "Life is a Highway" over and over and over again. I loved the echo. At one point they did even have an audience to watch the performace. The Jerry Kilgores can vouch for how loud these boys can sing in public (minus the auditorium walls).

It was great entertainment for Scott, and super fun for me to watch them sing and be silly while Scott and I just sat DOWN and enjoyed each other's company (even if it was brief)

We're off to church in the morning and then catching a dinner time date with Daddy tomorrow! Can't wait (I wish all deployments could be like this one on the last week!)

Yes, Zach put on quite a show at Mt. Rushmore. He sang Life is Highway and Kelly Clarkson's Since You've Been Gone. Total Rock Star! One guy came up to me at one point and said he felt like he should leave a tip.

I hope we'll get a chance to come out your way so that Zach and Hudson can sing the Cars soundtrack together. Other Hudson faves are James Taylor and the i am sam soundtrack. I think we'd have to charge your neighbors for concert tickets...
