Setting Goals for 2008!

I went over a bunch of things that I would like to see happen with our lives this year; and for me personally. I guess the more older I get, the more reflective I become.

This year, particularly, is a big year for me. ANOTHER year older which means another wrinkle to hide, grey hair to color, saggy portions to lift (through exercise, not surgery!!), bulge to battle, and soul to fill. That's huge...and I suspect it will be even more so NEXT year (ugh!)

But for now, I am looking at what is in front of me and these are some ideas, some goals, I have set for myself as well as ones that Scott and I have set for our family;

1) Condition, train and complete a 10k and/or half marathon
2) Find a running buddy
3) Go to the gym 4 days a week (up from three days a week)
4) Visit the library more
5) Stay focused on our Forget the Joneses' Project (for more info on that leave me your email address)
6) Complete the Forget the Joneses' Project
7) Get back to basics

These goals should keep me busy. That is my hope anyway. The proudest moment for me will be when I come back here and report in after my half marathon. That would mean 1) I didn't chicken out, 2) I actually completed it, and 3) I made it through alive! That and that all seven of these goals were made a part of my life!
