Showing off the Easter goodies? What's TY digging for in the background?

I love that it was probably 50-60 degrees out and your boys are in hats. If it was that warm here I think we'd all be running around in swim suits. I look at our weather station each morning hoping to see something in the 40's.

See, I saw the hats and wished I had put one on the boys. There was a chill in the air (yes, Sara, a 57 degree chill...you remember those from La Jolla, right:).
Anyway, my first thought when I saw those pictures was, "HOLY BAMMERS, BATMAN!" So I guess we can bring our water guns again this year, right?!

Aunt Anna broke the innocence of my children...and so NOW everything is a bammer.....however, the difference is with these, they are "pumpers" or "shooters" because you have to pump them full of air to "shoot" out the balls.....LOL

Yes, you can bring your bammers....we had to stock up on some of our own after your last visit! (it's a family affair now)

I need to revisit Deb's blog about weapons. How is it that my son only watches Dora (and I don't see her toting any AK-47's or anything) and yet he turns every household object into a gun? His current weapon of choice, clothing hangers "pow - pow - pow."

It's innate....I don't get it either Sara. My kids had never even seen a gun (in real life or on TV) until Aunt Anna brought bammers....and then instantaneously they knew how to use them and turned everything into a bammer.

Don't you love when you're trying to discipline your children while they're shooting you in the head with a train track bammer? Just go with it -- you're helpless to stop it. Even if you took away all their weapons, they'd find a Barbie and shoot you with it.

Thinking of you, Christy.

Okay, I'm glad to read these comments and feel that my boys are normal!! I think my favorite 'weapon' was when Brian ate one quarter of a Kraft cheese slice, and turned the remaining L-shape into a 'bammer'. Oh, and when he pulled the wooden stick out of a corndog, jammed it into the side and ta-da!! Another bammer. I mean, seriously???

Hudson's current favorite weapon is a Little Tikes golf club (any one of the set) that becomes a sword or a gun or a club or... it just morphs into the weapon of desire. Lovely.

I'd comment on your exciting email, but I'm afraid to jinx you...

Oh yeah, you should see the things Mike turns into guns... he's ridiculous. Oh wait, you were all talking about your children? I'm talking about a 28 year old man. And I'm not joking. He thinks it's funny to "shoot" me with things. Rubber bands, especially. So Christy, don't count on them growing out of it any time soon.
