A "Zach'ism"

10:00

Z: "hey mom, it's 1000 o'clock!"
M: "it's what o'clock?"
Z: "it's 1000 o'clock. Look there are three zeros"
M: "that's ten o'clock."
Z: "how many zeros are in a thousand?"
M: "three:
Z: "see, it's 1000 then"

Who am I to argue?

For serious! He totally schooled you, mama!

You could really confuse him by telling him in the Army way that it's "ten-hundred hours"... Let his pre-school teacher try to undo THAT one!

P.S. When exactly is a good time to call you? I've been thinking of it for the last several days, but every time I think about it, it seems like it probably wouldn't be a good time on your end. Email me and we'll make a phone date...

That is really cute. When you guys were learning to tell time, I did now allow digital clocks so that you could learn properly. Digital just makes it too easy, now-adays it is just too hard to have an 'old fashioned' clock in the house.
