Play Along!

My SIL has this on her blog so I considering myself TAGGED (as are you now, since you are reading this). Please play along and leave me a comment!

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog (or your facebook) and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you

My first memory of you is when you were planning Zach's first birthday and realizing that you and I are kindred spirits with a farm girl background. Oh my, that seems like so long ago....

One of my many favorite memories of you is when you and Scott first started dating and you were sitting on the couch talking to my mom. She asked where you worked. You replied (without flinching), "The Beer Store." SWEET!

Being with you in State College and realizing that Jerry and Scott were indeed cut from the same mold.

My memory is of the time I was visiting the Kilgore house and discovering that we both share a foot phobia. It was nice to realize that I'm not the only one! And I'm also admitting that I don't just blog stalk Alyssa...

Funny, many of my memories of you are from after you moved away . . . unfortunately we didn't get to know each other that well in Enid, but I am glad we've kept in touch! Anyway, one of my favorites is Ty & CJ's 2nd birthday party, with the yummy pizzas! That was fun. To this day, Brian LOVES his little ceramic train he painted.

One of my many memories of you would be what an awesome baseball and especially pitcher you are. ...Mom

Then there would be your ability to show cattle. For those who do not understand this expertise, Christy went to the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto with one of her award winning heifers. Christy truly enjoyed the training and preparation that went into this process.....Mom

3-D DORITOS!!!!!!!!!!
Need I say more? No. Not to you, anyway. You know the cut of my gib. But for the rest of your reading audience, I'll divulge more to the story.

One of my greatest pleasures is tormenting my sibs-in-law. Sara and Christy got the brunt of this little habit because they were around when I was young and annoying (now I'm old an annoying:).

Christy was innocently lying on the living room floor one afternoon watching tv and for some reason I felt the strong urge to smash a 3-D Dorito on her forehead as she lay there. HILARIOUS. I'm laughing out loud as I think about it right now...good times:)

Oh, and also that time at your parents house in Canada when you were trying to get Scott to believe you could to back flips or back hand springs or whatever it was you were doing. He was desperately pleading with you to do one, but you refused. Then when his back was turned, you would do 2 or 3 so only Bird and I could see. Then he'd turn back around, realize he'd missed it, and beg again. I think that went on for a good hour or so...you're evil.

Freezing our butts off and wondering if we would be slain during the 5K through the dark wooded areas.......Denise

The first time we spent a marathon night of game-playing at the Kilgores I remember thinking you were a straight-talking, down-to-earth gal who would always be tons of fun. And thankfully you haven't changed one bit.

After every holiday get-together, as we were heading home, Karl would start talking smack about Canada and telling me all the stuff he was going to tease you about NEXT Christmas. Funny though - he was never brave enough to actually say any of it to your face. Because, of course, he knows full well that you would serve him up a big ol' can of whoop-a** if he tried it. And Lyss literally just ATTACKING you as soon as you walked in the door at Mom and Dad's, followed by a massive brawl at Dad's feet in the family room. And many conversations about certain things that cannot be mentioned, but about which we were equally indignant. And yes, if Scott is ever idiot enough to lose you, you get to keep the sisters!
